The 40-piece set gives us enough shapes for small group work, and the assorted colors help kids tell the solids apart quickly. My students actually enjoy sorting and stacking them during math centers.
My kiddos finally get why a cube isn't just a square — the assorted colors make each shape pop so they can tell them apart fast. The 40-piece set is plenty for our whole small group to grab and compare at once.
These plastic shapes are sturdy enough for my little ones to handle without breaking, and the bright colors capture their attention. My class loves sorting them by shape and color.
